Welcome!

Welcome to our 2025-2026, middle school innovation zone where we are building and prototyping the future of middle school project-based learning.

This growing toolkit offers you a set of starter resources to begin implementing projects with your middle school students.

Please know that these are projects under development. They are ready to use, but not might be as polished, or have all the materials a K-5 project will have. We will add all the final details as we develop.

Two Ways to Engage

Full Projects

We’re building two BETA middle school projects to help you implement projects in middle school, and so we can improve our middle school design through student and teacher input. We’ll grow the full project library over time, after feedback on these two projects.

Take Action Projects
If you use one of our middle school missions, students can use one of our take-action projects to complete their mission. If students choose their own project idea or mission, they can use one of our take-action projects to complete their personal mission.
Mission Lab
The Mission Lab will launch in December (in a very early version). The goal is to provide a set of student-facing tools to help them plan and implement their own, high-quality project, based on their own mission.
