A. Necessary Conditions
Directions: Turn to your Mission Log. Think about what makes Earth special and what you could teach others about the conditions that make Earth livable. It could be a seed that represents how the Sun helps plants grow and gives us plenty of food to eat, or a piece of artwork that shares how humans have used gravity and creativity to bring us joy through art.
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to practice empathy. Use the empathy exercise earlier in the project to remember what it might be like to live in the future. Use this information to describe the three things you are putting into your capsule letter. Remember, they don’t know anything about your world, so don’t forget to use “feeling words” to help them understand how these things make you feel.
