Special guest teaching artist Ann Marie Meeker will join learners for a “get up out of your seat” experience.
What Kids Learn:
Activate your classroom as actors with this participatory workshop from the Alliance Theatre (Atlanta, Georgia). Learn how the Tools of the Actor (body, voice, imagination, concentration) support your students’ speaking/listening skills. Explore theater strategies, such as actor-neutral techniques, statues, and tongue twisters, that will equip your students with the tools they need to deliver successful presentations.
How it works: Students log in from their devices to vote, engage, and ask questions with the teaching artist from the Theater Alliance.
