Summary

The “Save the Whale” zine helps kids explore the following questions.

  • What is special about whales?
  •  Why they are in danger?
  •  Who is helping?
  •  How can we help?

Connections to Other Resources

This zine is the primary text in our Save the Whales project which explores why whales are endangered.  Kids in this project take action by showing courage and designing a save the whales backpack and wearing that bag as a way to share with others what we can do to help save the whales.
