Summary

The “Save the Penguins” zine helps kids explore the following questions.

  • What makes a penguin special?
  • Why they are in danger?
  • Who is helping?
  • How can we help?

Connections to Other Resources

This zine is the primary text in our Save the Penguins project which explores why penguins are endangered.  Kids in this project use what they have learned through this mission and build a diorama of a penguin’s habitat to raise awareness about the penguins.
