Summary

The “Plastic, Plastic Everywhere” zine helps students explore the following questions:

  • Why was plastic invented and what were the early benefits?
  • How did the increased popularity of single-use problems make the problem of plastic waste unmanageable?
  • What are earth’s four spheres and how do they interact?
  • How does the production, use and disposal of plastic harm each of earth’s spheres?
  • How can we show kinship through individual and collective action to fight against plastic pollution?

Connections to Other Resources

This zine is used in the Plastic, Plastic Everywhere full project.
