Project Title: Dinosaur Discovery
Mission:
How do we prevent more animals from going extinct?
Culminating / Take Action Project
Create a fossil exhibit to raise awareness about extinction.
What Kids Learn
Did you know that dinosaurs became extinct because of climate change? An asteroid hit the Earth, and it caused the environment to become too cold. This eliminated all the dinosaurs. Today, one of the biggest reasons for animal extinction is also climate change. Human action is the primary reason for climate change. Kids learn about dinosaurs and the extinction of dinosaurs, why we should care, who is helping, and how we can help. Kids then become paleontologist and create a fossil exhibit to raise awareness about how we can prevent more animals from going extinct.
