1.1 Your Mission: Save our Brains

A. Intro Video

B. True or False

Guess The Facts

You’ve probably heard lots of things about our brains. You may have heard about monsters that want to eat our brains. You may also have heard facts about our brains. Some of those facts and stories might be true. Some might be false.

Try this true false game to see some of the things you’ll learn in this module. See if you can guess which are true and which are false.

It’s okay to get them wrong, we haven’t learned them yet. This is just for fun.

C. Your Take Action Project

Little actions can help make the world a better place, rock by rock. Your take action project is how you will take action to help make the world a better place. There are lots of ways to take action. In this project, we are going to take action with a graphic design poster campaign. What’s that? Glad you asked…. watch these videos to find out.

D. Gathering Your Evidence

Being a Fact Finder

In this module you will learn all about:

  • How our brains work.
  • The parts of our brain
  • Why our brains need protecting.
  • How collisions can injure our brain.
  • How helmets can protect our brains.

You’ll play games, do experiments, watch video, meet experts and read. Every time you learn something new, you should write down important information in your Mission Log. Write down anything you think will help you with your final project. Write your notes in the “Fact Finder” section at the start of your Mission Log.
