Fall Queens Farms Tour

Rock by Rock is excited to partner with Queens Farms in Queens, New York, to offer a live virtual field trip on October 17th at 2:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM CT/:00 AM PT. The trip will be free for the first 250 kids.
What Kids Learn:
Queens Farm is always learning, observing, and thinking outside the box to see how we can use our land to grow more food! The farm grows 200 varieties of crops in its fields, with a strong focus on annual vegetables. The farm also produces perennial fruit, perennial vegetables, flowers, herbs, and pollinator-supporting plants. We offer various culturally diverse produce throughout the 9-month growing cycle. This farm is self-sufficient with waste by using large composting piles.
