Not to mention, it’s also a life habit we love!

In celebration of Earth Day, we will host a student hands-on event. Learners can participate along with us or learn and try out presentations at a later time.

What to expect:

• The Main Event: A build along with us DIY hummingbird feeder demonstration will be presented with a demonstration of how to make hummingbird feeder food at home that is a better source of nectar than feeder food purchased from stores. This supports Earth Day by upcycling water bottles, encouraging hummingbirds to pollinate in the feeder area, and providing healthier food for wildlife. This supports Earth Day and background knowledge for Rock by Rock projects like Trash to Treasure, The Art of Light and Sound, and Plastic, Plastic Everywhere.
• Materials: Educators will be provided with a simple list of materials for participation.
• More Hands-On: Demonstrations and background knowledge snippets that support Rock by Rock project activities related to Earth Day: Save the Frogs, The Art of Light and Sound, and Plastic, Plastic Everywhere.
• Earth Day content that will stick for years to come!
