A. Draft

Use your outline to write a draft of your news story in your Mission Log. As you write, remember to keep your news story focused on one topic.

Now that you have your draft written, it is time to write your headline.

Read over your draft to see if any words or phrases jump out at you – if they do, they may be good to use in your headline.

Remember, your headline should tell what your story is about, but also hook someone into your story!
