A. Pick Your Take Action Topic

Now it’s time to pick your topic for your Take Action Project – writing and producing a news story. News stories are all about the facts. Reporters try not to share their opinions, but reporters do decide what stories to tell. They can choose to report a positive story or a negative story.

In your Mission Log, pick your topic for your take action project.

Video Games Are Good: If you think we should play more video games because they help people, you should create a news story about the positive impact of games.
Video Games Are Negative: If you think we should play fewer video games because they have a negative impact on people, you should create a news story about the negative impact of games.
