A. Think About It
When deciding what types of genetic engineering we should allow or even study, there are lots of things we should consider. Pick two scenarios above and imagine a world where that change is possible. Write the best case scenario (the best thing you can think of that would happen with that change) and the worst case scenario (the worst thing you could imagine as a result of that change).
Before, we learned about ripple effects… let’s think about the ripple effects from three different scenarios.
Check out these scenarios in your mission log and decide if you think we should allow gene editing in each scenario.
