Summary

The “Save the Pangolins” zine helps kids explore the following questions.

  • What is special about a pangolin?
  •  Why they are in danger?
  •  Who is helping?
  •  How can we help?

Connections to Other Resources

This zine is the primary text in our Save the Pangolins project which introduces kids to one of the most endangered animals that most kids have never heard of.  Kids in this project learn all about empathy and explore how it might feel to be a pangolin.  Through the project, kids create a pangolin puppet and use that puppet in a dramatic play to share everything they have learned about pangolins.
