4.10 About Your Mural

A. Summary

Some artists create a written piece to accompany their artwork.  This allows them to give more information to the person viewing their work.  An example is on the left.

B. Your Turn

In your Mission Log, write a written reflection to accompany your mural.  Here are some points you may want to include in your reflection:

  • Explain the message or theme of your work.
  • Describe the elements you included – why you chose them and where you placed them.
  • The process you went through to create your mural.
  • Anything else you think would be helpful for a viewer to know?
