it is time to take a field trip! For our trip, we’re headed to the Everglades National Park in South Florida. Before you meet Larry, who will be your guide to the Everglades, let’s learn a little more about the park.
Directions: The Everglades is huge! It is the third-largest national park in the United States. The spots on the map below show a few fun places to visit. Click on the different sites. Which ones look most interesting to you?
B. Meet Larry Perez
Larry Perez grew up in Florida and worked as a park ranger in the Florida Everglades. He is a Burmese python expert and an author who wrote a book about Burmese pythons.
